Seaview Beach Diner (previously named Seaview Cafe ) is situated on tranquil Mersea Island opposite the beach and the pastel coloured beach huts of West Mersea Holiday Park . This fabulous beach diner run by Melanie and Jason is a popular meeting place for locals as well as extending a warm welcome to the numerous day trippers and holiday makers who come to visit this laid back Island.
A stay at the seaside is never complete without one of the most traditional English specialities, so why not pay us a visit to enjoy a portion of our hand battered Cod and chips (skinless and boneless) with optional homemade Tartare sauce. To complete the seaside experience we now serve Yorvale luxury Dairy Ice Cream in either a tub or a Waffle Cone, as well as Gluten free cones, Vegan and Dairy Free ice cream and even a Frozzys Dog ice cream for our four legged friends. We use premium meat and products and have a gluten free, vegetarian and vegan menu and fresh bread delivered daily by a local Bakery. For a sweet treat we have homemade cakes baked by a lady in the local village as well as hot sugared donuts for the ultimate afternoon treat.
There is indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy a selection of freshly ground premium Italian coffees, Ice cold Frappes, or why not try a Mersea Mooshake! A full children’s and takeaway menu is available to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
